Jobs and the green economy (27:30)

Almost 9 million U.S. jobs are already tied to the green economy — roughly 6 percent of all jobs, according to a recent analysis by research firm Management Information Services. What do those roles look like, and where can they be found? That’s the focus of the Green Jobs Now Project, a series of reports and articles being developed by nonprofit journalism organization WorkingNation that we’ve been republishing. Paula DiPerna, a long-time environmental analyst, author and special adviser to the CDP and WorkingNation, chats about the job creation potential of the green economy.

*Music in this episode by Lee Rosevere: “Quirky Small Town Characters,” “I’m Going for a Coffee” and “Southside.”
